Student Affairs

Educational fees at Işık University are determined by the Trustee Council. Every year, student fees may be raised according to the current economic conditions.

Our students can pay their tuition on an annual, semester, or partial payment basis.

Costs listed in U.S. Dollars are to be paid in U.S. Dollars.

Refund Conditions

Tuition 

  • For the fee to be refunded, the student must not have any debts against the University and must have returned the goods and equipment provided to him/her by the University undamaged according to the provisions specified in the articles on leaving the University and deregistration and leave of absence in the current regulations. 
  • Tuition fees are not refundable. 
  • A written request from the student is required for any refund.

 

Dormitory 

  • Students who wish to leave the dormitory within 15 days of the start of classes will be refunded 75% of the dormitory fee. 
  • Students who wish to leave the dormitory within 30 days of the start of classes will be refunded 50% of the dormitory fee. 
  • The dormitory deposit is refunded to students who leave the dormitory without causing any damage.

Annual tuition fees are not fixed and may change every year at the rate determined by the Board of Trustees.

Collections of US dollar-based fees are made in US Dollars. However, if our students wish to pay in YTL instead of US Dollars:
For installment payments: The YTL equivalent in the relevant tables is considered.
For annual and/or semester payments: the CBRT Foreign Exchange Sales Rate valid on the day of payment is used as the basis.
